All students K-5 will see me for classroom guidance lessons but we also offer small group or individual counseling if your child needs a little more support in areas such as family changes, friendship/communication skills, problem solving, school success, loss/grief, coping skills and much more.
Students can see a counselor by self-referral, parent referral or teacher/admin referrals. Parent consent is required for small group participation or individual counseling. Please stop by should you need to refer your child or have a concern you'd like to discuss with the counselor. I'm glad to help any way I can.
I am looking forward to a great year!
Let me know if I can help in any way to make your child's experience a great one here at McAndrew Elementary!
